2.There is also a water crisis. There are 4-5 billion people who do not have access to clean water. With the growing world population the use of water will need to increase to keep enough crops and livestock to feed everyone. To solve this we need to find a way to utilize salt water from the oceans scientist have been experimenting for years attempting to figure out a solution.
3. Unemployment. Projections say that about 210 million people will be jobless this year and this number is increasing with every new technology. 3.The problem with fighting terrorists is that they are not organized in the traditional military sense. There are no bases and normal storage facilities to attack. The only way to end this kind of terrorism is do exactly what the Marines did in Fallujah in the early 2000s during the War in Iraq. That is going door to door house to house gathering intelligence and killing anyone connected to ISIS.

Joshua,
ReplyDeleteWe shared a lot of the same top 5 problems. I think that is a testament to how bad these issues are on a global scale and the urgency of eradicating these issues. I agree that climate change is a difficult issue to fix, however I definitely think there are ways to solve it. In order to make a dent in solving it, I believe major pollutants like power plants and vehicles need to reduce their emissions and the major corporations need to receive more education on their emissions. Definitely check out my blog and keep up the good work!

Hi Josh, I also agree that terrorism is perhaps the greatest issue facing the world today, and I described ISIS in my blog post too. Along with that I also discussed income inequality, which is an issue that's ostracizing the poor while providing unnecessary benefits to the rich. I think that the world needs to come together to solve threats such as terrorism that represent a direct danger to the entire world. After that, nations will be able to focus on solving social, economic, and environmental problem. Check out my blog post to see some more issues that the world needs to solve.
